Our Youth Outreach Worker supports young persons between the ages of 13 and 25 years to reach their highest potential and achieve their personal goals. The Youth Outreach Worker may support a young person with: developing life skills, housing, food security, improving family and community connections, supporting recovery from substance use or mental health issues, education and employment, socialization, and accessing community resources to reduce personal health or safety risks and transition to adulthood. The overall goal of this program is to enhance the safety and well-being of youth and young adults. Referrals are received only through the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
