Totems and big houses stand tall and weathered throughout the region telling of the aboriginal history that began over 8,000 years ago.
The Kwakwaka’wakw people have a rich history dating back centuries and totem’s, petroglyphs, their ceremonies, rites and food are evident throughout their territory.
