Important Notice regarding COVID-19

Updated July 2021.

The NICCCS is doing everything we can to support local, provincial and national efforts to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. Thank you to all who have played a meaningful role in this challenging time and continue to do your best.

Effective March 20th, 2020 as part of this effort we temporarily suspended all NICCCS group programs, and limiting or modifying other services. As each phase of COVID management changes, we will continue to modify and amend programming to meet public health orders and best provide for the needs of our clients.

If you are a client, please contact our main office at 250-949-8333 to confirm your status. We have some staff in the office and we also have staff working remotely to assist clients via phone or email to limit in-person interactions.

We encourage any of our community members to connect with us via phone 250-949-8333 or email at reception@nicccs.org.

As Health Minister Adrian Dix said, taking the necessary steps to stop the transmission of COVID-19 is our duty to each other, to our elders, to the people we love, and to the people we don’t know.

BC has created a phone service to provide non-medical information about COVID-19, including the latest information on travel recommendations and social distancing. Information is available in more than 110 languages, 7:30 am – 8 pm at 1-888-COVID19 (1-888-268-4319)
